Where does my data come from and what data is processed?
We process the following personal data that we have received from you:
First name, last name, business email address and personal email address. In addition, the form of address, preferred language (EN or DE), date and time of newsletter subscription, date and time of profile updates and the IP address which is associated with the newsletter subscription are documented.
What is the purpose of processing the data and what is the legal basis?
We process your personal data if you have consented to data processing according to Art. 6 Section 1 lit. a GDPR. The purpose of data processing results from the respective declaration of consent. You can revoke your consent to data processing at any time free of charge and with effect for the future. Please send you revocation to the following contact address: classic@mercedes-benz.com
How long will my data be stored?
The personal data is stored for the duration of the newsletter subscription. After consent has been revoked or the newsletter unsubscribed from, the processing of personal data is blocked and this data is deleted within one year. You may unsubscribe from the Mercedes-Benz Classic Newsletter or revoke your consent with effect for the future at any time. This can be done via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter, via the settings of the respective subscription channel (e.g. Club Cloud), or by email to classic@mercedes-benz.com. The legality of the processing carried out prior to the revocation of consent shall remain unaffected.
Will my data be transferred?
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties.
Will my data be transferred to a third country?
Your data will not be transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA (third countries), unless we are obliged to transfer the data due to official or court orders.

Art. 17 GDPR – Right to have your data deleted, unless there are legal reasons for further storage.
Art. 18 GDPR – Right to restriction of processing of your personal data. This means that your data will still be stored, but may only be processed under limited conditions (e.g. with your consent or to assert legal claims).
Art. 20 GDPR – Right of data portability. You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to the controller, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
